Katrina
30 years together
It seems only
yesterday that we were wed
But like a weaver’s
shuttle, Oh, how time has sped
The children have
grown up and flown away
They have their own
lives so how could they stay?
Once young and vibrant, we had a good life
That is, my children
and I and Katrina my wife
Now there’s only
Echo’s of days long past
Just me and Katrina
alone at last
Together
we’ve been for thirty four years and a day
and like droplets of
dew time just melts away
We had laughter and we had our tears too
But through it all I
never stopped loving you.
34 years
The End.
